An ongoing series of short, vertical videos capturing the tender, playful exchanges between Apni and Awoke—the shapeshifting blob born of deep listening. Initially conceived during a solo exhibition at Honor Fraser Gallery in 2022, DMs began as fleeting, flirty encounters: a hand reaching toward a glimmering form, a gesture suspended between curiosity and connection.
These are not just direct messages—they are divine mirages, defiant murmurs, fragments of an evolving language between entities across realms. In this dialogue of movement and sensation, Apni begins to trust the wisdom of her most intuitive voice. Each new video adds another layer to Apni’s evolving story.
